The Karuwa Seti Hydropower Project (KSHP) is a run-of-river hydropower project proposed along the Seti khola in Kaski District, of Gandaki Zone. The project area lies within Sardi khola Village Development Committees (VDC). Jhyamolongma Hydropower Development Company Private Limited (JHDC) holds the survey license for this project.

KC Group has made extensive investments in thehydropower sector. The 4.8 MW Mardi Khola Hydro Project of KC Group came into operation in 2010. Other than this, the group currently operates a 1 MW Task Hydropower project and 4.5 MW Bijaypur-I Hydro Power Project. The undertaking of hydropower projects is a key milestone in the group’s business journey. The group has invested over NRs 2 billion inthe 13 MW Sikles hydro project that has already started commercial production. Besides, the construction work of Upper Mardi 7MW has also started generation of electricity since September 2019. The group has upcoming projects such as Bijaypur-II 4.5 MW, Jhyamulunga 32MW, and Upper Seti Hydro Project 20 MW in the pipeline.

Our Project Details

Jhyamolongma Hydropower Development Company Private Limited (JHDC) holds the survey license for this project. The survey license boundary co-ordinates of the project are 83° 57′ 50″ E – 83° 59′ 30″ E and 28° 22′ 12″ N – 28° 24′ 30″ N. The project’s headworks is located about 16 km towards north from Lamachaur of Kaski district.
